A loaded filter cartridge quietly drags down your whole tub. Once the pleats pack with oils, grease, sunscreen, and mineral scale, water flow drops, filtration suffers, and you end up fighting cloudy water no matter what else you add. Rinsing with a hose does not touch the buildup wedged deep in the pleats.
Paddle Filter Cleaner is a heavy-duty soak that cuts through it. This is used outside the spa, never added to your tub water. Pull the cartridge, hose off loose debris, then mix the full 16 oz with about 2.5 gallons of water in a bucket and soak the cartridge for 30 to 60 minutes. Rinse it clean and reinstall. The pleats open back up, flow comes back, and your filter does its job again.
One 16 oz bottle is a single full soak. Run it every 4 to 6 weeks to keep cartridges working and to stretch their lifespan instead of replacing them early.
